Spekulation kann als Begriff für Geschäfte, die Preisfluktuationen ausnutzen, verwendet werden. Oder Spekulation wird als politischer Kampfbegriff bentuzt.
Der Kurs will untersuchen, wie Spekulation als Gegenstand historischer Fragestellungen behandelt werden kann. Dabei werden sowohl Immobilienspekulation, Aktienspekulation oder die Tulpenmanie betrachtet.
