Umwelt und Gesundheit sind eng miteinander verknüpft. Die in diesem Seminar vorgestellten Konzepte heben die Bedeutung der Umwelt als Gesundheits- und Sozialdeterminante hervor.
Während Environmental Justice (Umweltgerechtigkeit) das Ergebnis umweltbezogener Maßnahmen darstellt, ist Environmental Health Literacy (Umweltbezogene Gesundheitskompetenz) als Befähigung und Instrument zu verstehen, mit in diesem Zuge relevanten Informationen umzugehen. Environmental Health Literacy ist somit sowohl Voraussetzung als auch Ziel zur Umsetzung von umweltbezogener Gesundheitsförderung und Prävention.
Als Gesundheitskommunikator/innen ist es deshalb besonders wichtig, diese in der Wissenschaft noch neuen Konzepte kennenzulernen und für die informierende webbasierte Gesundheitskommunikation zu nutzen.
Ihre Aufgabe ist es, ein Konzept für ein originelles und zielgruppenspezifisches Online-Informationsangebot zu erstellen. Die Webseiten und Hausarbeiten werden in Kleingruppen erarbeitet. Hierfür identifizieren Sie die relevante Zielgruppe sowie deren Informationsbedarf. Zudem ermitteln Sie, inwieweit bereits Informationsangebote im Internet für Ihre Zielgruppe und Ihr Thema bestehen.
