Methodisch vielfältig erproben wir im Seminar historische und aktuelle Ansätze kunstwissenschaftlicher Werkanalyse. Geübt wird die Befragung ausgewählter Bildwerke älterer und neuere Kunst vor dem Hintergrund entscheidender Paradigmenwechsel. Dabei werden zugleich Grundlagen kunstwissenschaftlichen Arbeitens vermittelt.
Kunstrezeption ist im pädagogischen Kontext ein aktives Geschehen, in dem produktive und reflexive Phasen ineinander greifen und in einen lebendigen Dialog münden. Neben der Erschließung kunstwissenschaftlicher Hilfsmittel und der Einführung in das vergleichende Sehen geht es im Seminar deshalb auch um Möglichkeiten einer künstlerischen Befragung sowie um den Sinn, den Bilder in Bezug auf die eigene Lebens- und Erfahrungswelt stiften können.
