J. S. Bach: Weihnachtsoratorium Teile I-III+VI
Choreinstudierung und Leitung: Dorothea Schenk, Fakultät für Linguistik und Literaturwissenschaft, Fach Kunst- & Musikpädagogik.
Jauchzet, frohlocket! , so erklingt es zu Beginn des 1734 uraufgeführten Weihnachtsoratoriums von Johann Sebastian Bach,
mit dem der Universitätschor Bielefeld auf das Weihnachtsfest einstimmen wird. Unter der Leitung von Dorothea Schenk
werden vier international anerkannte Solisten und das Barockorchester L´Arco / Hannover die Teile I-III+VI aufführen.
Beherrschung der alten Instrumente und Kenntnisse historischer Musizierpraxis sind die Grundlagen, auf denen das
Barockorchester sein facettenreiches Spiel entwickelt. Für den Universitätschor ist es eine wunderbare Herausforderung,
sängerisch barocke Musizierpraxis zu erarbeiten und zu erleben.Neue Chormitglieder (auch externe) sind herzlich willkommen!
