Der Kurs dient dazu, das im zweiten Semester erworbene Grundlagenwissen in der Epidemiologie und Demografie zu vertiefen und ihre Anwendung in wichtigen gesundheitswissenschaftlichen Bereichen kennen zu lernen. Die Studierenden lernen einige große Forschungsfelder der modernen Epidemiologie kennen und erhalten Einblick in die relevanten Studien. Sie sollen zu wichtigen gesundheitsrelevanten Fragen Stellungen beziehen und sich kritisch über den derzeitigen Wissensstand äußern können.

Erfolgreicher Abschluss des 1. und 2. BSc-Semesters.
