Das Thema 'Frühe Kindheit und Ethnizität' oder auch 'Frühe Kindheit in der Einwanderungsgesellschaft' beherrscht seit dem PISA-Schock im Jahr 2002 sowohl die bildungspolitischen wie die fachwissenschaftlichen Kreise. Dabei liegt das besondere Augenmerk auf der Entwicklungsdimension (Zweit-) Sprache im Falle der Familien mit Migrationshintergrund.
Im Seminar sollen durch eine intensive Beschäftigung mit der einschlägigen Literatur die aktuellen Debatten und Ansätze systematisch rekonstruiert und vor dem Hintergrund aktuellen wissenschaftlichen Wissens bewertet werden werden.

Master of Arts: Voraussetzung ist die Zulassung zum Master of Arts Erziehungswissenschaft

Als Literaturgrundlage dienen die Bildungspläne für die Arbeit in Kindertagesstätten der einzelnen Bundesländer.
Weitere Literatur wird zu Semesterbeginn bekannt gegeben.
