Jede Literaturgeschichte führt Stéphane Mallarmé als Schlüsselfigur der literarischen Moderne an. Gelesen wird er gleichwohl selten, weil seine Gedichte und Prosatexte vor eminente sprachliche Schwierigkeiten stellen. Es sind hochgradig verdichtete Brühwürfel, die nach einer Auflösung im gemeinsamen close reading verlangen. Im Seminar werden wir uns vorwiegend mit der Lyrik Mallarmés beschäftigen und uns dabei auf sein chef d'oeuvre, "Un coup de dès n'abolira jamais à l'hasard" zuarbeiten. -
