Regionalgeschichtliche Untersuchungen erfreuen sich seit Jahren konstanter Beliebtheit - nicht zuletzt unter Studierenden aufgrund des lebensweltlichen Bezuges und der Möglichkeiten zur Quellenrecherche vor Ort.
Doch wie schreibt man Regionalgeschichte?
Anhand des Beispiels der Stadt Bielefeld im 20. Jahrhundert werden in der Veranstaltung unterschiedliche Zugänge vorgestellt und diskutiert. Hierbei lernen die Studierenden verschiedene historiographische Konzepte kennen und machen sich unter Hinzunahme von regionalgeschichtlichen Veröffentlichungen und illustrierenden Quellenbeispielen mit diesen unterschiedlichen Ansätzen vertraut.
