In dieser Veranstaltung werden der Gegenstand und die Methoden der Rechtswissenschaft vorgestellt. Dieses Überblickswissen ist erforderlich, um den Stoff der folgenden Einzelveranstaltungen (Grundkurse) besser einordnen und strukturieren zu können. Entsprechende Kenntnisse – die in den Grundlagenveranstaltungen vertieft werden – sind nicht nur juristisches Handwerkszeug und berufsspezifische Allgemeinbildung, sondern verdeutlichen auch die gesellschaftliche Bedeutung des Rechts.
