220007 Das Handeln der Artefakte. Kunsttheoretische Perspektiven (S+GST) (SoSe 2021)

Die Annahme, dass ausschließlich das menschliche Subjekt handelt und das gegenständliche Objekt vom Subjekt behandelt wird, erfährt zunehmend eine kritische Revision. So weisen aktuelle theoretische Ansätze darauf hin, dass auch den Objekten eine spezifische Handlungsmacht innewohnt, die Menschen oder Tiere dazu bringen, etwas Spezifisches zu tun. Theoretische Ansätze u.a. aus dem Umkreis der ANT/STS sollen daraufhin gelesen werden, wie sie ein solches Handeln der Artefakte theoretisch konzipieren. Zu klären sind Fragen nach den artifiziellen Handlungsträgerschaften und wie Antworten eine methodische und theoretische Auseinandersetzung mit Artefakten in der Kunstgeschichte erweitern könnten. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, einen anwendungsorientierten Überblick über die aktuellen Ansätze zu gewinnen. Die zu lesenden Texte sind auf Englisch und auf Deutsch.
