Das Seminar widmet sich dem Werk von Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, einer der bedeutendsten deutschsprachigen Autor*innen des 19. Jahrhunderts. Im Fokus steht vor allem die kontextsensible historische Interpretation ausgewählter Texte (aller drei Gattungen: Prosa, Gedichte, Drama), aber auch die Frage nach der Aktualität und andauernden Faszinationskraft ihres Œuvres.
