In this class, we will focus on issues related to different aspects of teaching and learning English as a foreign language in the institutional context of compulsory schooling. We will focus on a number of subject matter-related issues depending on your research interests. In doing so, we will cover the basics of classroom research needed for your practical term, develop research questions, and draft one research project.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the event will most likely take place online entirely.

This course is mandatory for all students planning to start their Praxissemester in autumn 2021. Please note: In summer term 21, there are three VPS classes available in English. However, you only need to take ONE of these!
