301150 Klimapolitik und Finanzregulierung (S) (SoSe 2022)

Contents, comment

Auch wenn Klimapolitik zu den zentralen politischen Themen der Gegenwart zählt, fällt auf, dass sich die Politikanalysen schwerpunktmäßig mit Energiepolitik / Energiewende, CO2 Emissionen und Einstellungsfragen befassen. Andere Aspekte werden ausgeblendet. In diesem Seminar wird die finanzielle Seite der Klimapolitik betrachtet, einerseits indem die Geeignetheit finanzieller Institutionen, insbesondere Versicherungen, für die Lösung von klimapolitischen Herausforderungen analysiert wird, andererseits befassen wir uns damit, welche Investitionsstrategien der Finanzsektor wählt und auf welche strukturelle Probleme er dabei trifft.
