In der modernen Gesellschaft erfüllt der Journalismus wichtige Kommunikations- und Beobachtungsfunktionen. Zur Wahrnehmung dieser Funktionen bedarf es jedoch des Vertrauens des Publikums in den Journalismus.
Im Seminar erarbeiten wir zunächst die Funktion des Journalismus in der modernen Gesellschaft. Davon ausgehend befassen wir uns mit der Relevanz und dem Wesen des Vertrauens in Journalismus. Abschließend betrachten wir verschiedene theoretische sowie empirische Anknüpfungspunkte an diesen Themenkomplex.
