Lese-Rechtschreibschwierigkeiten gehören zu den am weitesten verbreiteten Teilleistungsstörungen. Im Rahmen dieses Seminars sollen neben den grundlegenden Kenntnissen des Störungsbildes und der Ursachen von Lese-Rechtschreibschwierigkeiten im ersten Teil vor allem die notwendigen diagnostischen Verfahren vorgestellt und in praktischen Übungen erprobt werden. Im zweiten Teil des Seminars werden unterschiedliche Verfahren und Möglichkeiten der Förderung behandelt.
Im Rahmen des internen Curriculums der Pädagogischen Psychologie ist das Seminar als Vertiefungsveranstaltung den Themenfeldern Diagnostik und Intervention für die Kontexte Familie und Schule/Ausbildung zuzuordnen.
