Das Seminar startet am 21.04.2021. Für die beiden GF-Diff.3-Seminare gibt es keine gesonderte Platzvergabeveranstaltung, da es ausreichend Plätze gibt. Bitte tragen Sie sich darum nur für den Kurs ein, den Sie tatsächlich besuchen wollen.
Die Anwesenheit in der Sitzung am 21.04.2021 ist für die Teilnahme am Seminar zwingend notwendig, da die Themenvergabe für die Sitzungsgestaltungen erfolgt.Das Seminar findet in digitaler Form via Zoom statt. Studierende werden jeweils einzelne Sitzung zu Schwerpunktthemen gestalten, indem sie fachlichen Input geben, Arbeitsphasen (z.B. Gruppenarbeiten) vorbereiten und Diskussionen im Plenum moderieren. Dadurch soll trotz des virtuellen Settings eine interaktionsreiche Veranstaltung enstehen, deren Fokus auf dem fachlichen Austausch sowie kritischen Diskussionen liegt.
Inhaltlich beschäftigen wir uns in diesem Seminar mit dem Konstrukt der Intelligenz. Wir werden dazu an erworbenes Wissen aus der Vorlesung zur Differentiellen und Persönlichkeitspsychologie anknüpfen und bestimmte Aspekte vertiefen. Dabei liegt der Fokus auf theoretischen Modellen und empirischen Korrelate (z.B. Geschlecht, Persönlichkeit) sowie den Ursprüngen von interindividuellen Unterschieden in Bezug auf Intelligenz. Außerdem thematisieren wir die Entwicklung der Intelligenz über die Lebensspanne, kulturelle Unterschiede und die Rolle von Intelligenz zur Vorhersage von Leistungsaspekten.

Die Veranstaltung wird für Studierende im vierten B.Sc.-Semester Psychologie empfohlen.
