Dieses Seminar findet geblockt in der vorlesungsfreien Zeit (01.10.-09.10.2020) statt. Es kann
optional zusammen mit der Übung 205083 belegt werden, welche in der anschließenden Woche stattfindet
(siehe Beschreibung 205083). Eine Vorbesprechung wird nach Vereinbarung durchgeführt.
Ziel und Inhalt des Seminars ist es, die Grundlagen des Tierwohl (Animal Welfare) und
der angewandten Verhaltensbiologie theoretisch am Beispiel von Nutztieren kennen zu lernen.
Der Kurs findet in deutscher Sprache statt.

Contents, comment

Ziel und Inhalt des Seminars ist es, die Grundlagen des Tierwohls (Animal Welfare) der angewandten Verhaltensbiologie, theoretisch kennen zu lernen. Wie kann man Tierwohl von (Nutz-) Tieren messen, wie kann man die artgerechte Tierhaltung über Verhaltensindikatoren messen und bewerten? Diese Fragen werden intensiv in Vorlesungen und Referaten erörtert, unter der Berücksichtigung verschiedener (Nutz-) Tierarten, Zuchtformen und deren spezifische Haltungsbedingungen mit deren jeweiligen Vorteilen und Nachteilen.
Als Ergänzung zu dem Seminar kann die Übung 205083 belegt werden. Das Seminar findet geblockt am Lehrstuhl für Verhaltensforschung an der Universität Bielefeld statt (Mo-Fr, 28.9.-02.10.2020). Im Rahmen des Seminars wird von jedem Teilnehmenden neben der aktiven Teilnahme, ein Referat über ein wissenschaftliches Thema erwartet. Wer eine benotete Einzelleistung benötigt, kann nach Kursende eine mündliche Prüfung durchführen. Für die Veranstaltung wird eine Vorbesprechung rechtzeitig durchgeführt, dafür wird mit allen im eKVV eingetragenen Studierenden per Email ein Termin vereinbart. Bei der Vorbesprechung werden alle weiteren Details besprochen.
