Das Seminar eröffnet die Möglichkeit, sich intensiver mit ausgewählten „Klassikern“ auseinanderzusetzen, die das Verhältnis von Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft untersuchen. Dabei soll es nicht nur darum gehen, wirtschaftssoziologische Grundlagentexte kennenzulernen, sondern auch zu diskutieren, wie diese rezipiert wurden und werden und welche Erklärungskraft diese Texte für das Verständnis aktueller Fragestellungen besitzen.
Das Seminar ist als Lektüreseminar konzipiert. Eine Bereitschaft zur regelmäßigen Vorbereitung der Texte ist daher Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme.
