392162 Moderne Smartphone Programmierung (S) (SoSe 2011)

Die Zeiten von Java Microedition und spärlichen WAP-Seiten sind vorbei. Smartphones haben sich zu leistungsstarken Geräten entwickelt und haben die umfangreichen Programmier-Umgebungen der Desktop-Computer mitgebracht. Trotz alledem ist die Einstiegshürde in die Programmierung von Smartphones noch relativ hoch.

In diesem Seminar wird ein Überblick über die aktuellen Smartphone-Plattformen und den damit verbundenen Technologien vermittelt. Außerdem wir der Einstieg in die Entwicklung für die Plattformen praxisorientiert demonstriert. Schwerpunkte bilden dabei die Plattformen Android (Google), iOS (Apple) und webOS (Palm / HP).

Der erste Teil des Seminars besteht aus Vorträgen, unter anderem von ehemaligen Studenten der Uni Bielefeld, die mittlerweile in der Industrie in diesem Feld tätig sind (Tim Preuß von http://www.appcellent.de und Janusz Leidgens, selbstständiger Entwickler). Im zweiten Teil werden die Teilnehmer selbstständig Vorträge zu aktuellen Themen vorbereiten und anschließend in der Gruppe diskutieren.

Zu diesem Seminar wird zusätzlich in den Semesterferien ein Blockseminar angeboten, in dem die Teilnehmer selbstständig eine Anwendung (neudeutsch: App) entwickeln können (Veranstaltung Nr. 392152).

Die Teilnehmer sollten Programmierkenntnisse in Java oder C besitzen.
