Deep Learning is becoming a popular method of choice in many areas of research where large complex data is gathered and analyzed. Recent advances in laboratory equipment has provided the biological sciences with a range of high-throughput technologies that generate vast amounts of data which are particularly amenable to Deep Learning.
In this seminar we will discuss applications of Deep Learning in the biological sciences. After a brief introduction you will work in groups to study a selected topic which is then presented in a joint talk.
