234066 Maschinelles Lernen in der (Computer-)Linguistik (S) (SoSe 2011)

In der Computerlinguistik setzen sich immer mehr Verfahren des maschinellen Lernens durch, also Verfahren, die es erlauben, Regularitäten in sprachlichen Daten maschinell zu erkennen und nicht (ausschließlich) durch intellektuelle Einsicht des Forschers.

In der Veranstaltung werden wir uns mit den grundlegenden Verfahren des maschinellen Lernens vertraut machen (Entscheidungsbäume, Regression, Regellernen) und diese praktisch mit Hilfe des Weka-Toolkits (siehe Literaturhinweis) auf Sprachdaten ausprobieren.

Requirements for participation, required level

Grundkentnisse in Programmierung, insbesondere in Skriptsprachen zur Aufbereitung von Daten (Perl, Python), sollten vorhanden sein -- oder zumindest die Bereitschaft, sich diese parallel anzueignen.
