234009 Morphologie und Syntax (S) (SoSe 2011)

In Morphologie und Syntax werden Wortstrukturen (Morphologie) und Strukturen auf der Ebene von Phrasen (Konstituenten, Sätze) behandelt. Morphologie hat u.a. die Komposition von Morphemen zu Wörtern (Flexion) und die Ableitung von Wörtern (Derivation) zum Gegenstand. In neueren Grammatiken bildet ein Lexikon das Interface zwischen Phonologie, Morphologie, Syntax und Semantik. Lexikoneinträge enthalten phonologische, syntaktische und semantische Information. Die syntaktische Information umfasst ihr Potential (Valenz), wohlgeformte Ausdrücke zu erzeugen, die semantische Information enthält den Beitrag eines Eintrags zur Wortbedeutung. Regeln und Prinzipien bestimmen, wie man die Lautstruktur eines Satzes und seine Bedeutung aus lexikalischen Einheiten erzeugt.
