Economic Policy: Environmental economics

A list of participants will be posted on the bill-board no later than March, 7th 2011. For all participants a first meeting will be held on Mon. April 4th 2011 10-11 o’ clock in V8-119. The further proceeding and information on the themes will be discussed. If you cannot attend, please inform the instructors in advance.

For each of the themes starting literature is available for copying. You are welcome to use this opportunity ahead of your studies and preparing the term paper.

Concerning the structure of the seminar it will be blocked during the semester. The dates for the presentation and the deadline for turning in the paper will be announced at the first meeting.

Structure
There are two parts of the course:

First, a term paper of 15-20 pages has to be turned in by the end of the semester, a precise deadline will be announced in due time. For preparing this please regard to the general principles of academic writing. If you are unsure about this please do not hesitate to contact the course instructors. In addition, please turn in 2 copies of your work at least 1 week ahead of the presentation.

Further, a presentation of your term paper is to be held. It is supposed to last about 30 minutes. Afterwards in a small talk this topic will be discussed with the audience.

The seminar addresses to Master Students of Economics and Business Studies.

Registering is required. Please do so by writing an Email to bfincke@wiwi.uni-bielefeld.de
Until February 28th 2011. Please remember to mention the classes you participated in that were held by Prof. Dr. Greiner.

Since available capacity is limited, for participation we will consider your previously visited classes held by Prof. Greiner.
