Modellbildung und Fehler, Approximation von Funktionen (Polynominterpolation, Splines), Approximation in normierten Räumen (Bestapproximation, Ausgleichsrechnung), Numerische Integration und Quadraturformeln, Nichtlineare Gleichungen (sukzessive Approximation und Iterationsverfahren, Newton-Verfahren), Lineare Gleichungssysteme (Gauß- und Cholesky-Verfahren, QR-Zerlegung, Störungsresultate)
Für WS 2011/12 is eine Vorlesung "Numerische Analysis und Differentialgleichungen" (vormals Numerik II) geplant. Schwerpunkte werden dann Elemente der Numerik gewöhnlicher Differentialgleichungen, der Nichtlinearen Funktionalanalysis und deren Anwendung auf Integral- und Differentialgleichungen sein. Für SS 2012 ist dann ein Seminar zur Anfertigung der Bachelorarbeit geplant.
