Die Lehrveranstaltung wird in Form von Zoom-Meetings abgehalten. Kurz vor Beginn der Vorlesungszeit werden die angemeldeten Teilnehmer*innen des Seminars eine Einladung zu diesen Zoom-Meetings in einer über das ekvv verschickten Rundmail bekommen. Die Gruppenarbeit wird in der ersten Seminarsitzung organisiert.
Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit den Positionen und den Funktionen von Autoren in unterschiedlichen Literatursystemen. Die Arbeitsgruppen sollten sich nicht allein mit der historischen Entwicklung des Literatursystems in Deutschland bis zu aktuellen Situation der Gegenwar beschäftigen. Vielmehr soll ein Vergleich mit dem Literatursystem in anderen Ländern stattfinden. Die Teilnehmer*innen des Seminars sollen daher ihre interkulturellen Erfahrungen und Kompetenzen aktiv in die Gruppenarbeit und in die Seminardiskussion einbringen.

Medial unterstützte Präsentation eines in Gruppenarbeit durchgeführten Forschungsprojekts mit anschließender Diskussion. In dieser Präsentation sollen das entwickelte Forschungsdesign vorgestellt, die forschungsmethodologischen Entscheidungen begründet und erzielte Ergebnisse dargestellt werden.Inhalt, Form und Verständlichkeit der Präsentation sowie Qualität des Forschungsansatzes und der Grad der Reflexion werden bewertet. Die individuelle Leistung der Teilnehmer muss sowohl in der Präsentation als auch in der anschließenden Diskussion sichtbar werden.
