In der Veranstaltung werden Grundkenntnisse der hispanistischen Literaturwissenschaft vermittelt. Dazu gehören zunächst grundlegende methodische Konzepte und Ansätze der Literaturwissenschaft mit ihren zentralen Fragestellungen. Mithilfe dieser Herangehensweisen werden einzelne, exemplarische Texte der spanischen Literaturgeschichte gelesen. Diese Lektüren dienen der Einübung der wissenschaftlichen Literaturanalyse. Sie haben zugleich den Zweck, dass sich die Seminarteilnehmer_innen in wichtige Themen der Hispanistik einarbeiten. Auf Modulebene verpflichtend ist die Teilnahme an dem Tutorium zur spanischen Literaturwissenschaft, das von Alba Crespo Ruiz geleitet wird. Das Seminar wird im kommenden Sommersemester in der Übung zur spanischen Literaturwissenschaft fortgeführt.
