Es wäre absurd, Paul Celan in wenigen Sätzen vorstellen zu wollen. Das Seminar/Kolloquium wird einige Gedichte Paul Celans in kleinen Schritten möglichst genau besprechen. Mehr eigentlich nicht. Aber das ist sehr viel.
Voraussichtlich an zwei Sitzungen wird Dr. Thomas Sparr per Zoom teilnehmen. Thomas Sparr, stellvertretender Leiter des Suhrkamp Verlags bis 2015, einer der wichtigsten Verlagsmenschen in Deutschland, ein herausragender Celan-Kenner, wollte in diesem Sommer einen Lehrauftrag an unserer Universität übernehmen, der Corona zum Opfer gefallen ist. Wir werden diesen Lehrauftrag nachholen; Herr Sparr wird vorab schon in sein Buch, sein Celan-Verständnis und seine Forschung Einblicke geben.
Außerdem wird Raum gegeben, eigene Projekte (Masterarbeiten, Dissertationen) vorzustellen.

Neugierde auf Lyrik, Bereitschaft, sich auf den wohl schwierigsten und bedeutendsten Lyriker des 20. Jahrhunderts in der deutschen Literatur einzulassen.

Ich empfehle Ihnen die 'Kommentierte Werkausgabe in einem Band', hg. von Barbara Wiedemann, Franbkfurt am Main 2003. (Barbara Wiedemann ist eine überragende Kennerin des Werkes.)
