230248 Laboratory Phonology and Experimental Phonetics (S) (WiSe 2020/2021)

This course brings together approaches to experimental phonetics and laboratory phonology. Each session will be divided into two parts:

• Discussion of a theoretical issue
• Analysis of relevant case study(ies)

The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of the current issues in the field using case studies. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in class discussions.

Assessment:
At the end of the course, students will be required to write a review report on a topic of their choice.
