This course brings together approaches to experimental phonetics and laboratory phonology. Each session will be divided into two parts:
The aim of this course is to develop an understanding of the current issues in the field using case studies. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in class discussions.
Assessment:
At the end of the course, students will be required to write a review report on a topic of their choice.
Good understanding of the basic tenets of phonetics and phonology.
