Regelungen auf Grund der Corona-Pandemie: Ein Großteil des Moduls wird online auf Zoom stattfinden. Der entsprechende Link wird an den Teilnehmern rechtzeitig verschickt. Da praktische Arbeit mit großen Datenvolumen geplant ist, müssten die Teilnehmer Festplatten von den Lehrenden abholen.
In diesem Modul werden verschiedene grundlegende Konzepte erarbeitet und Methoden gelehrt, die bei der quantitativen Untersuchung
verhaltensökologischer Zusammenhänge eingesetzt werden. Mögliche
Schwerpunkte sind z.B. Kommunikation, Partnerwahlstrategien, individuelle Variationen von Verhalten und Feindvermeidungsstrategien.
Es werden dazu Experimente erarbeitet, praktisch durchgeführt, analysiert und in der Gruppe vorgestellt und diskutiert. Außerdem werden genetische Grundlagen gelehrt und im Labor ein praktischer Einblick in Mikrosatellitenanalyse gegeben.
