Grundkenntnisse in empirischen Forschungsmethoden gehören zu den Schlüsselqualifikationen, über die nicht nur die wissenschaftlich arbeitenden Erziehungswissenschaftler verfügen sollten. Auch in den Praxisfeldern sind Kenntnisse in Forschungsmethoden unverzichtbar.
Im Zentrum dieser Veranstaltung stehen quantifizierende Verfahren der empirischen Sozialforschung. Kenntnisse über diese Verfahren sind einerseits notwendige Voraussetzung für das kompetente Lesen und Auswerten von Tabellen und statistischem Material, andererseits bilden sie die Basis für die Durchführung eigener Untersuchungen.
Wir werden uns mit den folgenden Fragen auseinandersetzen:
Welche Fragestellungen sollten mit welchen Verfahren bearbeitet werden? Was ist eine Hypothese und werden Hypothesen geprüft? Woher kommen die Daten? Was versteht man unter Datenauswertung? Was sagen uns die Ergebnisse statistischer Berechnungen?Siehe E-Mail!
