230703 Englisch: English Pre-Intermediate, A2.2 (S) (SoSe 2020)

Contents, comment

The A2 Intermediate English class is an intensive course covering all the grammar and adequate vocabulary that you need to be able to speak fluently. It builds upon the previous A2.1 courses, going further into the tenses and sentence structures. It covers a wide range of interesting subjects, such as media, society and the family, health, science, work and industry, the environment, and global affairs. The grammar starts with absolute basics, such as sentence order and aims to bring you to level B1. The course is interactive and communicative; you will do real-life tasks and become more fluent in your language use!

A bit about the teacher!
My name is Matt Salter and we will spend the first two sessions getting to know eachother. I like to teach task-based lessons, allowing you to work in teams and practice your grammar/language using realistic scenarios. It is really important to me that you feel comfortable in the classroom. Making mistakes is completely normal but learning from them is important. As I try to speak other languages, I know how you feel, so we can help eachother to become better learners! I also like diverse classes with learners from different backgrounds. You will get the chance to tell others about your culture and others can tell you about their culture! You’ll get to know more about me during the first two sessions!
