Das Seminar dient der Vorbereitung auf das im Rahmen des Bachelor-Studienganges obligatorische Praktikum, das an einer Institution des In- oder Auslands, an der DaF/DaZ unterrichtet wird und/oder die im Bereich der Kulturmittlung tätig ist.
Schwerpunkte der Veranstaltung sind u.a. Merkmale guten Unterrichts, Mitschau und Analyse von DaF/DaZ-Unterricht (Unterrichtsprotokoll und Unterrichtsanalyse), Vorbereitung von Unterricht anhand von Lehrwerklektionen (Unterrichtsplanung), Durchführung von Unterrichtssequenzen, weitere Aspekte der Unterrichtsplanung und -durchführung, die gemeinsam mit den Seminarteilnehmenden bestimmt werden.
