Landeskunde (bzw. Kulturstudien) im Fach DaF/DaZ ist ein letztlich unerschöpfliches und immer wiederl kontrovers diskutiertes Thema. Im Seminar sollen die Entwicklungslinien und der aktuelle Diskussionsstand erarbeitet werden. Konkret und exemplarisch sollen am Thema „Jugend“ diachrone Entwicklungsprozesse verdeutlicht sowie synchrone kulturelle Unterschiede herausge-arbeitet werden. Als Ansatzpunkt dient hier u.a. die 18. Shell Jugendstudie von 2019, die auch dazu dienen soll, geeignetes Unterrichtsmaterial für den DaF-/DaZ-Unterricht zu erstellen. Es werden von den TeilnehmerInnen Kurzpräsentationen zu Themen aus der Shell Jugendstudie erwartet. (Und wir werden Lösungswege finden das auch online zu realisieren.)
Die Befunde der neuen 18. Shell Jugendstudie weisen auf Veränderungen bei der aktuellen Jugendgeneration hin.
Es gilt u.a. zu diskutieren, inwieweit sich der angedeutete Trend auch aus subjektiver Sicht bestätigen lässt und inwieweit sich Entwicklungs-tendenzen von denen in anderen Ländern unterscheiden.

Das Seminar findet zum großen Teil online statt. Die Anforderungen werden dann im Gespräch konkretisiert. Gedacht ist tatsächlich an einen kleinen Gruppenvortrag zu relevanten Themen aus der Shell-Studie.
