Soziale Medien wie Instagram oder Snapchat gehören heute für viele Jugendliche zum Alltag. Das Seminar soll das Nutzungsverhalten sowie auch die entwicklungs- und medienpsychologische Funktion von sozialen Medien im Jugendalter thematisieren. Darüber hinaus werden spezifische Herausforderungen und Probleme, mit denen Jugendliche im Umgang mit sozialen Medien konfrontiert werden, behandelt.
Studierende sollen in diesem digitalen Seminar angeleitet werden, empirische Studien aufzubereiten, mit dem Ziel verschiedene spezifische und z.T. individuelle Fragestellungen zu beantworten.
Requirements for participation, required level

Bereitschaft, sich mit empirischen Fachartikeln in englischer Sprache auseinanderzusetzen. Besondere Vorkenntnisse sind nicht notwendig. Das Seminar richtet sich an Haupt- und Nebenfachstudierende der Psychologie (vorgesehen ab dem 3. Fachsemester) sowie an Studierende der Klinischen Linguistik. Eine Vergabe der Plätze für alle J3-Seminare findet zentral statt. Informationen hierzu entnehmen Sie bitte der E-Mail zur Seminarplatzvergabe vom 07.04.2020.

Eine Studienleistung wird im Sommersemester 2020 im Rahmen von Aufgaben im LernraumPlus ermöglicht. Die Studienleistung kann erbracht werden, indem Studierende in Einzelarbeit wöchentlich entsprechende Themenbereiche im Lernraum erarbeiten und spezifische Fragestellungen bearbeiten. Im Fach Klinische Linguistik kann ebenfalls eine benotete Einzelleistung erbracht werden (Absprache mit der Dozentin erforderlich!).
Für das Seminar relevante Literatur wird weitestgehend im Lernraum zur Verfügung gestellt.
