230742 Literarische Innovation um 1850 (S) (WiSe 2010/2011)

Mit der Bestimmung der "progressiven Universalpoesie" (F. Schlegel) werden um 1800 Kunst und insbesondere Literatur als Medien einer Innovationsästhetik etabliert, wie sie für die Moderne charakteristisch ist. Das Seminar fragt, wie sich in der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts, mit dem Ende der Romantik, literarische Innovation bestimmen lässt. Wie zeigt sich in den literarischen Formen Innovation? Welchen Stellenwert haben dabei z. B. realistische Schreibweisen? Welchen anderen medialen und ästhetischen Innovationen bezieht die Literatur als ästhetische Verfahren ein? Und schließlich, wie agiert Literatur in innovativer Art und Weise innerhalb bestehender literarischer Traditionen und Gattungen?
Diese Fragen sollen u.a. an Büchners Lenz und Woyzeck, an Droste-Hülshoff, Heine, Mörike, dem späten Tieck diskutiert werden.
