230986 German for Beginners 1 (A1) (S) (WiSe 2010/2011)

Language course for international students of the Bielefeld Graduate Schools and other subjects (mainly) taught in English.

This German Language course is designed for absolute beginners and beginners with a very limited knowledge of German. It is based on the communicative approach and contains intensive training of all skills, grammar training and improvement of your speaking skills. The course will focus on communicative situations relevant at the university, provides students with knowledge of German culture and aims at helping them to integrate into life at the university and in German society in general. Additional cultural activities will be part of the program. This course is equivalent to level A1 within the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Participation will be certified after a written exam. Classes 4 hours a week.

Award of 4 ECTS points possible.

Die Teilnahme am Kurs ist kostenpflichtig und nur nach vorheriger Anmeldung und Beratung möglich. Für weitere Informationen zur Einschreibung und den genauen Teilnahmebedingungen steht Ihnen das PunktUm-Team zu den Sprechzeiten (dienstags 14.00-16.00 und donnerstags 14:00-16:00) in Raum C3-226 zur Verfügung.

Teilnahme an allen Veranstaltungsterminen (entschuldigtes Fehlen wird für max. 25% der Sitzungen toleriert).

Prior registration is obligatory for participation in this course. New students can sit a placement test if applicable. This cours is subject to a participation fee. For further information on the course and our terms of enrolment, please contact the PunktUm staff in C3-226 during office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2.00-4.00 p.m.

Participation in all event dates (excused absence is tolerated for max. 25% of meetings).
