Die Veranstaltung erstreckt sich über zwei Semester und verbindet Elemente aus dem Bereich „Philosophische Analyse von Alltagsproblemen“ und „Präsentation“.
Es sollen gemeinsam philosophische Probleme behandelt werden, die sich aus Alltagserfahrungen ergeben bzw. die nicht nur von fachphilosophischem, sondern auch von allgemeinem Interesse sind.
Die Teilnehmer sollen dazu (evtl. in kleinen Gruppen) Präsentationen entwickeln und halten und die anschließende Diskussion moderieren.

Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 3 Leistungspunkten (BA- und MA ed.-Studiengang) für die Veranstaltung "Philosophische Analyse von Alltagsproblemen" ist die regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme sowie das erfolgreiche Erbringen einer benoteten Einzelleistung. Die benotete Einzelleistung wird durch ein Portfolio von zwei bis drei mündlichen und schriftlichen Leistungen unterschiedlicher Art erbracht. Art und Anzahl dieser Beiträge werden zu Beginn des Semesters mitgeteilt; ihre Art kann je nach dem Verlauf der Arbeit im Einverständnis mit den Studierenden auch während des Semesters modifiziert werden. Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 3 Leistungspunkten (BA- und MA ed.-Studiengang) für die Veranstaltung "Präsentation" ist die regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme sowie das erfolgreiche Erbringen einer unbenoteten Einzelleistung. Die unbenotete Einzelleistung beruht auf der selbständigen Vorbereitung und Durchführung einer Präsentation.
