Die Vorlesung baut auf die kriminologische Grundlagen-Veranstaltung des Vorsemesters auf und vertieft das dort erworbene Wissen an Einzelgegenständen. Gegebenenfalls ist aber auch ein selbstständiger Besuch möglich. Im Zentrum der Vorlesung steht die kriminologische Forschung zu besondere Kriminalitäts- bzw. Phänomenbereichen (z.B. Gewaltkriminalität, Wirtschaftskriminalität, politisch motivierte Kriminalität usw.) und zu sonstigen Spezialgebieten (Kriminalität und Medien, Kriminalität und Senioren).
Die Vorlesung bereitet auf die SPB-Klausur vor. Es wird eine limitierte Anzahl an SPB-Hausarbeiten angeboten.
