Das Seminar bezieht sich auf zwei Entwicklungslinien, von denen ein erheblicher Anpassungsdruck auf politische Organisationen ausgeht: die fortschreitende globale Vernetzung gesellschaftlicher Kommunikationen und die Transformation der Industriegesellschaft in eine Wissensgesellschaft. Auf der Grundlage entsprechender Diagnosen und anhand empirischer Fallbeispiele besteht das Ziel der Veranstaltung darin, wesentliche Merkmale wissensgetriebener Governanceprobleme herauszuarbeiten und mit Blick auf politische Organisationen und interorganisationale Arrangements die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen wissensbasierter Formen globaler Gouvernanz zu untersuchen.
Der Veranstaltungsplan und eine Liste mit veranstaltungsrelevanten Texten werden den TeilnehmerInnen Mitte September zur Verfügung gestellt.
