Nach einer kurzen Einleitung in die elementare Zahlentheorie werden Beispiele für erzeugende Funktionen und asymptotische Approximationen diskutiert. Mit Hilfe von elementarer Funktionentheorie / Fourierintegralen werden grundlegende Verfahren wie die Kreismethode an Beispielen dargestellt.

Voraussetzungen sind Analysis I&II sowie Grundkenntnisse der Fourieranalysis, Funktionentheorie und elementaren Zahlentheorie.
