In diesem Seminar wird ein Einblick in die zentralen Theorien, Methoden und Ergebnisse der Arbeitsmarktforschung vermittelt. Das Hauptaugenmerk gilt den Konsequenzen, die sich aus den Veränderungen von Beschäftigungsformen und Arbeitsmärkten für die Sozialstruktur einer Gesellschaft ergeben. Ausgangspunkt ist die Debatte über eine Destandardisierung von Beschäftigungsverhältnissen und einer Zunahme "atypischer" Beschäftigungsformen.
