230727 Englisch: English Grammar for Academic Writing (S) (WiSe 2019/2020)

Contents, comment

This course will focus on gramamtical structures that are crucial for clear, precise, high-level academic writing in English. We will focus on things like writing in different tenses, the active vs. the passive voice, using adjective and adverb clauses, writing with sentence variety, and so on.

This course is open to all levels, but a B2 level (or very strong B1) is recommended.

NOTE: A c-test (placement test) result is not required for this course.
