The seminar will explore and compare classic theories of capitalism as well as the "New History of Capitalism" that is currently making inroads in the field especially in the Anglosaxon world bit also in global history.
This seminar is foremost (but not exclusively) open for the particpiants of the master studies program "Global Cultures", a joint program with the University of Bologna.
