Im Fokus dieser Veranstaltung steht das Verhältnis des Menschen zur Natur und wie er sich dieser mit künstlerischem und/oder naturwissenschaftlichen Blick nähert.
Neben kunstgeschichtlichen und -wissenschaftlichen Grundlagen werden in der Basiswerkstatt Bezüge zum Kunstunterricht in der Grundschule hergestellt.
Die Vernetzung kunstwissenschaftlicher und kunstdidaktischer Fragestellungen in der Basiswerkstatt liefert die theoretische Grundlage für die eigene künstlerische Abschlussarbeit, auf das die sich zeitlich anschließende Projekt-Veranstaltung als Impuls künstlerischer Arbeit " vorbereitet.
Die Veranstaltung erfolgt zum Teil kompakt.

Zum Seminar gehört eine Studienleistung: Die Studierenden erbringen einen Impulsbeitrag und reflektieren in schriftlicher Form (z.B. Werkstattbuch, Portfolio, Ausarbeitung) wie fachwissenschaftliche und didaktische Aspekte ineinandergreifen.
