Die deutsche Geschichte ist immer wieder auch Thema im DaF- und DaZ-Unterricht. Und das gilt nicht nur für die Orientierungskurse, in denen ein ganzes Modul der Thematik gewidmet ist. Insbesondere auch im Ausland wird man nicht selten mit der Aufgabe konfrontiert, eine thematische Einheit zu einem historischen Thema zu unterrichten. Und das kann dann auch schon einmal etwas anderes sein als der Klassiker" Mauerfall und Wiedervereinigung. Im Seminar sollen Wendepunkte der deutschen Geschichte genauer behandelt werden und der Frage nachgegangen werden was davon heute noch von Relevanz für den Sprachunterricht auf verschiedenen Niveaustufen ist und wie ein geschichtliches Thema zu behandeln wäre.
