Im Tutorium werden unabhängig zum Grundkurs und der Historischen Orientierung eigene Inhalte vermittelt. Es handelt sich nicht um eine Übung, in der wiederholt oder vertieft wird. Stattdessen werden in dieser Veranstaltung eigenständige Teile der Klausur gelehrt (ca. ein Drittel der Klausur besteht aus dem Teil, der im Tutorium behandelt wird). Der zweite Teil nach der Klausur beschäftigt sich mit dem Verfassen einer wissenschaftlichen Hausarbeit. Die Studienleistung im Grundkurs bei Andrew van Ross wird unterstützend begleitet.
Für die Teilnahme am Grundkurs und am Tutorium ist eine persönliche Anmeldung notwendig. Da eine in etwa gleichmäßige Verteilung der Teilnehmer auf alle Grundkurse im Bereich Antike für ein Gelingen der gemeinsamen Arbeit unabdingbar ist, findet vor Semesterbeginn (25.3., 26.3. und 28.3. jeweils von 10 bis 14 Uhr) ein schriftliches Anmelde- und Verteilungsverfahren in Raum X-A3-103 statt.
Für die Zulassung zu einem der Kurse ist allein die persönliche (!) Eintragung in die dort geführten Anmeldelisten entscheidend, nicht die unverbindliche Anwahl im ekVV!
