270114 The Neurobiology of Violence and Aggression (BS) (SoSe 2010)

The present seminar aims to provide a review of the most updated available research data on the neurobiological underpinnings of the human individual aggression and violent behavior, such as genetic predispositions, neuro-anatomical and neuro-functioning correlates, and neurotransmitters and neuroendocrinological abnormalities and epigenetic factors.

Language of Presentation:
The leader will present the didactic material and conduct the seminar discussions in English.

BSc Psychologie Studierende ab dem 3. Semester.

Auskünfte zu der Liste können leider weder telefonisch noch per E-Mail gegeben werden. Für die organisatorische Planung des Seminars ist die Anwesenheit in der ersten Sitzung unbedingt erforderlich! Den Nachrückern wird empfohlen, zur ersten Sitzung zu erscheinen, um freigewordene Plätze auffüllen zu können!

The participants are required to make a 45 minutes oral presentation on a topic that is relevant to the theme of the seminar (incl. discussion time). The presentations should be preferably prepared and delivered in English. For a list of the recommended topics for presentations and suggested readings, the participants should contact the leader of the seminar.
