Learning a new language can happen in lots of ways today.
Therefore, a solid background in language teaching approaches and methods is essential for anyone who wants to work in the foreign language classroom. Taking this as a starting point, this course is designed to explore some of the major approaches and methods in foreign language teaching. In each session, we will look at a different approach/method in terms of its theory but also curriculum/syllabus design, activities, and media/materials used in the classroom.

The binding module descriptions contain further information, including specifications on the "types of assignments" students need to complete.
