Die Waldjugendspiele sind eine jährliche, bundesweite Veranstaltung zur Umweltbildung für Schülerinnen und Schüler der 4. Klassen. In Bielefeld werden sie im Jahr 2019 zum 20. Mal angeboten. Die Kinder lernen dort mit Kopf, Herz und Hand das Ökosystem Wald kennen. Sie wandern dazu unter Anleitung einen Waldparcour ab, wobei sie sich an verschiedenen Stationen handlungsorientiert Wissen aneignen.
Die Waldjugendspiele finden in einer 3-wöchigen Praxisphase im September / Oktober 2019 (16.09. - 01.10.) im Waldgebiet des Tierparks Olderdissen und in der Senne statt. Es handelt sich dabei um ein Kooperationsprojekt der Universität Bielefeld mit der Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald (SDW) und der Umweltbetriebe der Stadt Bielefeld. Insgesamt werden ca. 100 Klassen teilnehmen, welche von den Studierenden betreut werden.
In der im Semester stattfindenden Lehrveranstaltung werden die Studierenden auf die Praxisphase vorbereitet. Dabei lernen sie theoretische Grundlagen der Waldpädagogik und das notwendige fachliche und fachdidaktische Wissen, um die Klassen betreuen zu können. Außerdem werden die Waldparcours begangen und vor der Praxisphase erprobt.
Die BPst ist geöffnet für Lehramtsstudierende des Faches Biologie, Sachunterricht und ISP. Aus organisatorischen Gründen bitten wir um eine verbindliche Zusage per Mail an die Veranstalterinnen bis zum 01.04.2019. Die Teilnahme an allen Seminarsitzungen sowie die Teilnahme an der Praxisphase sind obligatorisch.
