The course aims to:
Expand your general English language skills with English for business and employment by providing opportunities to
• develop your comprehension of business terms and economic concepts related to employment
• focus on business functions such as social English, presentations, meetings, and negotiationsSkills development
Students are to develop their skills in:
• Reading - business publications, including graphs and financials
• Speaking - discussing business and employment issues
• Presenting - employment and business topics in their fields
• Writing - profiles of companies and careers in their field
• Listening - to online and in-class presentations on business topics
